Lore
Real name: Dale “Lice Pubes” Whitlock (middle name disputed)
Origin: Born deep in the Appalachians, raised on weather alerts, gospel, and an unfinished country song. Fell asleep on a CRT looping rap, gospel, and pawn shop ads — woke up speaking in rhythm.
The Name: During an early livestream freestyle in a flea market barber chair, a stream glitch corrupted his username to “Lice Pubes.” His response: “You don’t fix it. You weaponize it.”
Come-Up: Didn’t break into music — leaked into it. Debut tape recorded on a stolen Bluetooth speaker and a Walmart mic. Spread via county fairs, busted AUX cords, and hand-to-hand burned CDs.
The Dale Era: At some point started signing everything “DALE.” No explanation given. Fans theorize it’s his true self, a split personality, or just what he yells when things break.
Companion: A pitbull named Receipt — “Everything I own got a receipt or a story. That dog got both.”
Venues: Gas station parking lots at midnight, behind Waffle Houses during storms, and once accidentally at a church revival.
Supernatural Ability: Any broken speaker turns on at max volume the moment he starts rapping — regardless of battery. Scientists declined to investigate.
Last Known Status: Somewhere between West Virginia and a rumor. Selling USB mixtapes labeled “DO NOT OPEN IN POLICE PRESENCE.” Arguing with a jukebox.
Prophecy: “When the last gas station closes, Lice Pubes will finally drop a clean version.” Nobody believes it. Everyone’s waiting anyway.
